Questions? Call 602-566-4647 for assistance with your order.
How does it work?
When you begin the ordering process, you’ll need to know basic information about your home including home type and zip code. Next, you will use the product filter to select unit type, heat source and size to help narrow down the right choices for your home.
Each step of the ordering process features a tutorial to answer any questions. Prior to your installation, we will arrange a site visit to make sure you chose the right unit and to schedule your installation date. We can always make changes to your order at that time. Then, your new AC will be delivered and installed within 72 hours. It’s that easy!
Why are your prices low?
Our prices are the best in the industry, simply because we have eliminated the middle-man, we have National Buying Power, and no overhead expenses. Passing all those savings along to you.
Are there hidden fees?
No way. The price you see online when you checkout is the price you pay.
Does buying an AC online mean I have to install it myself?
No. After you make your purchase, one of our contractors will be in touch to schedule a site inspection where they will verify your order and schedule an installation date. Your AC unit will then be delivered and installed within 72 hours.
Our team of licensed contractors is held to the highest standards. Each contractor is hired based on their clean license record, longevity in the business, superior ratings and reviews, and certifications and awards achieved. Additionally, they must pass a background check.
How fast will my AC be installed?
After you complete your purchase online, a contractor will contact you within 24 hours to set up a site visit. Your new AC will then be delivered and installed within 72 hours.
How do I know I chose the right AC?
As you go through the product filter online, you will notice that we educate you along the way. Things like tonnage and split system options don’t have to be confusing. We’ll give you the information in easy-to-understand terms so you can make a simple, educated decision. Plus, we’ll verify that you ordered the right unit when we come out for the site inspection.
Does my AC unit come with a warranty?
Yes. All of our AC units are complete and matched-up systems that come with a full manufacturer’s and workmanship warranty, which are both validated by a licensed contractor upon installation.
How do I determine if I need a Split System or Packaged System?
Split System
A split heating and air conditioning system has equipment installed both inside and outside the home. In a split heating and air conditioning unit, the condenser or heat pump is installed outside the home and a furnace or air handler is installed inside the home. The indoor and outdoor components of a split unit are connected by refrigeration pipes and low-voltage wiring, otherwise known as a lineset. Air is distributed through a duct system to each room in the home.
Packaged System
Packaged heating and cooling systems sit outside the home on the ground or rooftop, and all the components are contained internally in a single unit. Package units use a duct system to distribute air throughout the home.
Note: A furnace-only heating unit uses natural gas or propane as fuel to heat the home. Furnaces can be installed in an attic, garage or a closet, in or outside the home. The furnace is attached with low-voltage wiring to the thermostat inside the home.
How do I determine my heat source?
Gas System
All gas furnaces burn natural gas or propane to heat your home. You will likely see a gas line feeding them and a metal round vent stack penetrating your roof. Gas package units will have a gas line and a small exhaust vent mounted on the side of the cabinet. If it is a split system with a gas heater, the outdoor unit will not run during the winter. If you receive a monthly gas bill, you likely have gas as your heat source.
Electric Heat Pump
Electric heat pumps utilize the same parts that your air conditioner does. The only difference is that it reverses the flow of refrigerant to heat your home. If the outdoor condenser runs in the winter, as well as summer, chances are it’s a heat pump.
How do I determine the size/tonnage I need?
It’s important that you have the right size AC unit for your home. In order to determine what size unit you currently have, look at the data plate on the outdoor condensing unit and locate the model number, not the serial number. You’re looking for 3 digits in the model number that match the numbers below to indicate the tonnage, or btu, of the unit. For example, if you see the number 048, this indicates that you have a 4 ton or 48,000 btu air conditioner. If the unit you have now is the correct size for your home, replace it with the same size.
012 = 1.0 ton = (12,000 btu)
018 = 1.5 ton = (18,000 btu)
024 = 2.0 ton = (24,000 btu)
030 = 2.5 ton = (30,000 btu)
036 = 3.0 ton = (36,000 btu)
042 = 3.5 ton = (42,000 btu)
048 = 4.0 ton = (48,000 btu)
060 = 5.0 ton = (60,000 btu)
For example: model SSX160241 is a 2.0 ton or 24,000 btu air conditioner.
How do I determine the size/tonnage for multiple units?
No matter how many AC units you’re replacing, the process for determining the size or tonnage is the same for each unit. In order to determine what size unit(s) you currently have, look at the data plate on the outdoor condensing unit and locate the model number, not the serial number. You’re looking for 3 digits in the model number that match the numbers below to indicate the tonnage or btu of the unit. For example, you’ll see the number 048, this indicates that you have a 4 ton or 48,000 btu air conditioner. If each unit you have now is the correct size for your home, replace each one with the same size.
012 = 1.0 ton = (12,000 btu)
018 = 1.5 ton = (18,000 btu)
024 = 2.0 ton = (24,000 btu)
030 = 2.5 ton = (30,000 btu)
036 = 3.0 ton = (36,000 btu)
042 = 3.5 ton = (42,000 btu)
048 = 4.0 ton = (48,000 btu)
060 = 5.0 ton = (60,000 btu)
For example: model SSX160241 is a 2.0 ton or 24,000 btu air conditioner.
What does SEER stand for?
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating. It indicates the relative amount of energy needed to provide a specific cooling output. Many older systems have SEER ratings of 6 to 10. The higher the SEER rating, the more efficient the unit. As of 2016, the minimum SEER of a system built by a manufacturer is 14.
Are there any rebates available?
Some utility providers offer rebates to their customers for upgrading to a new efficient AC unit that has a higher SEER rating. Check with your utility provider on what these requirements are prior to your unit purchase. When you schedule your jobsite inspection with your contractor, let them know that you want to pursue the eligible utility rebate. They will add on the required heat load calculation, which is a small additional fee due to the labor involved. Your contractor can do all the necessary paperwork and submit it for you, so you can obtain your eligible utility rebate.
Rebates are available on qualifying equipment. Any questions about your rebate can be answered by your assigned contractor when they contact you to schedule your site inspection.
Is there an installation guarantee?
Yes, every order with us comes with installation included by a local licensed, bonded, and insured HVAC contractor who has been hand vetted by the owner himself. All installs will be completed within 72 hours from the jobsite inspection based on product availability from the manufacture.
